About this file
This document is a Supplement to AFLC Form 761 dated 15NOV2016 for a solenoid valve (National Stock Number 4810-00-782-7732HS, Part Number 2-43909-1) with specific qualification requirements. The form details stringent qualification criteria for manufacturers, requiring that only actual manufacturers who have successfully completed all testing required by the original design company can be considered approved sources. The qualification requirements are set forth in the OC-ALC Source Approval Information Booklet, with two primary qualification paths: (1) manufacturers who completed original design testing, or (2) manufacturers who have completed testing on items determined by the government to be similar in complexity and criticality. The document provides both pre-19 OCT 84 and post-19 OCT 84 qualification frameworks, emphasizing the need to maintain high quality and maximum operational safety for this critical component.
