About this file
This is a Quick Quote document related to a road adjustment project on Fort Pickett, coordinated with the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT). The project involves the delivery and placement of 255 tons of VDOT #33 select material at Range 11 on the Fort Pickett installation. The work encompasses providing approved equipment and materials necessary to complete the road adjustment task. The document is dated August 6, 2026, and serves as a quotation request for contractors to submit pricing for this material delivery and placement project.
The Quick Quote mechanism indicates this is a streamlined procurement process for obtaining contractor services and materials. Pricing submissions would be expected in response to this quotation request, with vendors providing costs for labor, equipment, and materials related to the delivery and installation of the 255 tons of select material. As a fort-based infrastructure project in Virginia, the work likely falls under state and military installation procurement guidelines, with the final award determining the contracted vendor responsible for completing the Range 11 road adjustment work.
