About this file
This document is a Notice of Intent to Award issued by the Michigan Department of Technology, Management & Budget Printing Services for Request for Quote 26*0433, concerning the procurement of 10,000 civil rights die cut stickers. The project requires a six-week turnaround time for completion. No specific bid submission deadline, site visit, or bidders conference is detailed in the notice. The recommended vendor for award is Nev's Ink, selected based on best value analysis combining evaluation criteria and pricing.
Five vendors submitted bids ranging from $3,275.00 to $4,610.00, with Image Printing offering the lowest price at $3,275.00 and Nev's Ink recommended at $3,310.43. The evaluation criteria included turnaround time, price hold capability, whether work would be printed in Michigan, and relevant experience. Nev's Ink was selected as the responsible bidder offering best value despite not being the lowest bidder, suggesting superior performance across other evaluation factors. One vendor, Rydin Decal, submitted no bid. Protests to the award recommendation must be submitted electronically through the Vendor Self Service portal by the posted deadline. Brad Schumann serves as the print consultant for inquiries regarding this project.
