About this file

This is a Notice of Intent to Award issued by the Michigan Department of Technology, Management & Budget's Printing Services division for a Request for Quote (RFQ #26*0433) to produce 2026 Civil Rights Die Cut Stickers. The project involves the production of 10,000 die cut stickers. The RFQ evaluation has been completed, and Printing Services reserves the right to perform the work in-house. An actual award will be issued after an order is received and the decision to issue the project to the recommended vendor is finalized. Protests of the award decision must be submitted electronically through the Vendor Self Service system by the deadline specified on the Notice of Intent to Award. Questions regarding the project should be directed to print consultant Brad Schumann at 517-636-6143 or SchumannB@michigan.gov.

The recommended vendor is Nev's Ink, which submitted a quote of $3,310.43 with a 6-week turnaround time. Four other bidders submitted quotes ranging from $3,275.00 to $4,610.00, with IMAGE PRINTING offering the lowest price at $3,275.00. Award recommendation is made to the responsible bidder offering the best value to the State of Michigan, based on a combination of evaluation criteria factors including pricing, turnaround time, price hold, whether the work is printed in Michigan, and relevant experience. Printing Services may award to a higher-bidding vendor if that bid provides superior value based on turnaround time or other specified criteria. For questions regarding the outsourcing process, bidding, protest, awarding, and bid tabulation procedures, contact Andrew Hale, Departmental Technician, at 517-636-0092.
