About this file

This is a Contractor Questions and Answers document issued by Morgan Community College (MCC) in Fort Morgan, Colorado, addressing inquiries related to two concurrent capital projects: 2026-101 STEM Project Renovations and 2026-102 Mi Casa Career Center. The document clarifies scope responsibilities between the contractor and owner across multiple trade areas, including information technology infrastructure, security system reinstallation, library shelving and book relocation, asbestos testing and abatement, and fire alarm contracting. Bid opening is scheduled for April 8, 2026, at 10:15 a.m. Mountain Standard Time in room CO104. The scope includes provision of pathway infrastructure for teledata cabling and devices, reinstallation of security devices coordinated with MCC's security vendor Multicard, management of library shelving and books under both base bid and alternate bid scenarios, and fire alarm work through the required vendor Denver Fire Alarm. A formal addendum (Addendum No. 01, CORE ID 2026000151) has been issued for project 2026-102 to address Learning Resource Center carpet replacement, with eligible bids required to include the bid alternate form.

Asbestos testing for project areas is being completed by MCC, with any required abatement to be handled by the owner rather than the contractor. The document specifies that teledata cabling and devices will be procured and installed by the owner, with the contractor responsible only for pathway infrastructure including raceways, sleeves, conduits, boxes, and cable trays. Complete addendum documentation is available on bidnetdirect.com/colorado/mcc. No pricing terms, funding amounts, or contract award information is provided in this questions and answers document.
