About this file
This is a re-advertisement document for a rebid issued by GoRaleigh (the transit authority in Raleigh, North Carolina) for trench drain repairs at a parking facility. The project scope includes demolition and removal of existing trench drains, demolition and repair or replacement of concrete surfaces, re-striping of parking areas, addition of pedestrian crosswalk striping, demolition and replacement of existing catch basins, replacement of PVC stormwater drain piping, and miscellaneous curb and concrete repairs as needed. The original bid process was canceled and re-advertised to solicit new proposals from qualified contractors. A mandatory pre-bid site visit and bidders' conference were held to allow potential bidders to inspect the project location and clarify scope requirements. Sealed bids were due on the specified deadline, with the contract award anticipated following evaluation of all submissions.
The re-advertisement format indicates that the initial bidding process did not result in an acceptable award, necessitating a second solicitation to achieve competitive pricing and qualified contractor participation. Specific pricing information, set-aside provisions, funding sources, and contract duration terms are contained within the full solicitation documents. Contractors were required to submit comprehensive bids addressing all scope items and were expected to provide detailed cost estimates and project schedules as part of their proposals.
