About this file

This Statement of Work (SOW) details a repair project for a Sullair air compressor at the US Coast Guard Air Station Barbers Point in Kapolei, Hawaii. The primary objective is to replace an unserviceable variable speed drive system with a full voltage starter system for the main air compressor in Building 1790, ensuring the compressor meets operational requirements.

Key project specifications include: removing and disposing of the existing variable speed drive, installing a new full voltage starter system compatible with the Sullair compressor, rewiring as necessary, and performing functional tests. The project has a 15-calendar day on-site work limit, requires contractor personnel to provide advance security documentation, and mandates work be performed between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. Safety compliance with OSHA regulations is required, and bidders are encouraged to conduct a site investigation prior to submitting a proposal. Water and 120V electricity will be provided at no cost to the contractor.
