About this file

This is an amendment document (Amendment #1) for a Mid-Size Tractor procurement (RFB 2025-UWMSN-00897-RFB) issued by the University of Wisconsin-Madison. The amendment consists of a single question and answer exchange regarding the tractor's RTK (Real-Time Kinematic) capabilities. The university clarified that they are not currently using RTK technology or base stations, and that sub-inch satellite-based guidance would be acceptable for their needs.

The amendment requires bidders who have already submitted responses to re-certify and resubmit their responses in ShopUW+ to acknowledge the amendment. This modification to the original RFB appears to be a technical clarification that could impact the specifications and pricing of the tractor being procured.

2025-UWMSN-00897-RFB

Questions and Answers

Please note: If you have already submitted a response, you will need to re-certify and resubmit your response in ShopUW+, to acknowledge this amendment.

Q1. Do you want the tractor unlocked for RTK? If you want RTK, what brand of base stations are you using? Or we can do sub-inch with Trimble CenterPoint, which is satellite based?

A1. We are not using RTK currently, so we do not need that unlocked. We are not using a base station. Sub-inch satellite-based guidance will work.
