About this file

This is a bid schedule document for a tree planting project issued by the Commonwealth of Virginia for the Spruce Pine Site located in Buchanan County, Virginia. The project involves planting trees on reclaimed abandoned mine lands approximately 1.6 miles northwest of the Pilgrims Knob community. The work scope consists of two line items: tree planting labor and tree supply, with an approximate quantity of 28 bundles of 100 units each for both items. Bidders must submit unit prices for labor and trees, with the total bid price calculated by extending these unit prices by their respective quantities. The bid schedule does not specify response dates, due dates, site visits, or bidder's meetings, though such information may be contained in other contract documents.

Pricing must be submitted on a per-unit basis, with payment to be made on actual units used and verified in the field. A bid bond is required for all bids of $100,000 or more. Any bidder entering $0 as a unit price or leaving the unit price blank will be considered nonresponsive. The document emphasizes the importance of accurate pricing and double-checking calculations before submission, noting that in cases of price extension errors, the unit price shall govern. No information regarding set-asides, incumbents, funding sources, or contract term is provided in this bid schedule document.
