The solicitation details precise specifications for four types of buoys: Regulatory Can Buoys (9"x61"), Navigational Can Buoys (9"x61"), Regulatory Nun Buoys (42"x28"), and Regulatory Float Collar Buoys (42"x28"). The solicitation mandates that all products be new, of the most current version, and meet federal, state, and local regulations. Bidders must provide a minimum of three references demonstrating experience with these products, submitted through OpenGov Procurement. The buoys are subject to a five-year warranty against peeling, fading, cracking, or delaminating, and must be delivered to the Sarasota County Warehouse with specific delivery requirements, including a liftgate and pallet jack. The county reserves the right to request clarifications and will only accept official electronic responses posted in OpenGov Procurement, with all questions about the solicitation to be submitted electronically by the specified deadline.
