STATEMENT OF WORK

INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION (IRS-CI)

HYCU PROTÉGÉ SUITE

C.1 Introduction/Overview The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Criminal Investigation (CI) Technology Operations (TechOps) requires, (1) Protégé Suite with 72 Socket Licenses, with a 1-year subscription term.

C.2 Background TaLON (Tactical Law Enforcement Operational Network) is transitioning to a hybrid-cloud/multi-cloud and cloud neutral/vendor neutral/hypervisor neutral design model. HYCU is a multi-cloud, application aware backup and recovery software suite used to provide disaster recovery (DR) and data management services to TaLON's infrastructure clusters. It will allow TaLON to seamlessly manage DR across its multiple cloud-based Clusters. Without HYCU Protege Suite, TaLON will have snapshot-only backups, introducing a high level of risk of any failure within the cluster triggering a catastrophic failure and data loss.
