About this file
This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) that outlines the requirements for a preventative maintenance (PM) service contract to maintain seven Sartorius Arium laboratory water purification units at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's (FDA) Seattle Human and Animal Food Laboratory (SEAHAF).
The SOW details the scope of work, which includes providing a Sartorius original equipment manufacturer (OEM) qualified maintenance technician to perform quarterly PM tasks such as cleaning, sanitizing, replacing components and filters, and recalibrating the total organic carbon (TOC) sensor. The work must be performed on-site at the SEAHAF facility during regular business hours. The contract includes a one-year base period with four one-year option periods. The government has provided a list of the specific Sartorius unit models, serial numbers, and locations. Detailed PM service tasks and required consumables are outlined for both the Arium Comfort and Arium Pro units. Deliverables include providing a quarterly PM schedule, field service reports, and TOC sensor calibration certificates. The government has also outlined the applicable federal holidays and requirements for restoring any displaced, altered, or damaged government property.
