About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for a Request for Bid (RFB) issued by the University of Wisconsin-Madison for Artistic and Exhibit Design and Fabrication Services (2024-UWMSN-00537-RFB). The RFB is not tied to a specific project but rather seeks vendors to provide services for potential projects during the contract coverage term. Services must be performed in the United States in compliance with Wisconsin Statutes 16.705 (1r), which disqualifies bidders unable to meet this requirement. Bidders are instructed to complete an itemized bid list customized based on their hourly rates and services offered. The bid list contains pre-populated service categories on lines one through six, with lines eight through fourteen available for bidders to enter alternative service descriptions and unit costs. Line seven of the bid list is locked and unavailable for editing. Responses must be submitted online through the ShopUW+ portal at https://bids.sciquet.com/apps/Router/PublicEvent?CustomerOrg=UWisconsin, with questions directed to Brad Bauman at brad.bauman@wisc.edu.
The estimated annual spend for this contract is $500,000, with a total estimated contract value of $2,500,000 over the coverage term. The RFB is open to qualified bidders, though international companies based outside the United States are ineligible due to the service performance requirement. No specific project specifications are provided in the solicitation, as this is a requirements contract for future projects within the term. Bidders should structure their proposals around the services they provide rather than responding to detailed project scopes.

| A4: | This Request for Bid is not for a specific project. This RFB is for potential projects within the contract coverage term. The itemize bid list should be customized based on your hourly rate of services offered. |
| Q5: | I am not sure what is being requested for the Itemized Bid List component on the Jaggaer form. My previous work for the UW encompasses a wide variety. Is this a request for individual bids for those projects, typical bids, or estimated future bids? |
| A5: | This RFB is for future bids. Please complete the Itemized Bid List based on the services offered by your company. If your services do not match or similar to those listed on line 1 to 6, please enter your description/unit cost on lines 8 – 14. Unfortunately, the description on line 7 is locked. |
