About this file
This is Addendum 1 to RFB #2024-18PC for the County of Portage, Wisconsin, issued on June 18, 2024, regarding the drilling and installation of a drinking well for Lake Emily County Park. The addendum clarifies specifications and addresses bidder inquiries regarding well testing and equipment requirements. Key revisions include a modification to Section 10.9 to specify the installation of two 2 HP STA-Right submersible pumps at 20 GPM constant capacity, replacing the originally specified 1 HP pump. The addendum confirms that three separate nitrate level tests are required, with testing to be conducted at the contractor's discretion. Additionally, the specifications require the installation of a 1 1/4-inch pit-less shut-off valve as part of the project deliverables.
No pricing information, set-asides, incumbents, funding sources, or contract term details are contained within this addendum document. The addendum serves solely to provide technical clarifications and revisions to the original bid specifications in response to bidder questions regarding pump horsepower, testing frequency, and valve requirements.
