About this file
This is Addendum 1 to RFB #2024-13PC issued by the County of Portage, Wisconsin Purchasing Department on March 15, 2024, regarding a specialty pavement marking and painting contract. The project involves the painting of specialty pavement markings on various Portage County highways at multiple locations throughout the county, including stop bars, crosswalks, railroad crossings, and Type 2 arrows for turn lanes. The addendum clarifies that mobilization dates are open, with some areas designated for completion after chip sealing operations, and all work must be completed within the 2024 construction window. Vendors must provide their own Type 2 arrow stencils, which are standard size and listed in Attachment G of the bid documents.
The addendum establishes that the submitting vendor must be the entity performing the work and cannot submit as a reseller using authorized dealers, distributors, or wholesalers. The project value is determined by the vendor submitting the bid rather than being predetermined by the County. No revisions to the original RFB were noted in this addendum, only clarifications and answers to bidder questions regarding vendor qualifications, equipment requirements, and project timeline expectations.
