About this file
This document is Addendum No. 1 for a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the Broome County Division of Purchasing in New York, specifically for RFP 2024-066 regarding Document Restoration & Preservation for the Broome County Clerk. The addendum, dated 10/16/2024, modifies the original RFP by clarifying the contract term, which will commence upon Broome County Legislature approval, notification of award, mutual agreement execution, and receipt of a satisfactory insurance certificate. The county intends to contract for a 12-month period following contract execution, with the RFP opening scheduled for November 13, 2024.
The addendum requires potential bidders to acknowledge and return the signed addendum with their proposal, specifically correcting language in item 20 of the Instructions to Respondents. While financial details are not provided in this document, the addendum demonstrates the county's procedural approach to refining and communicating contract specifications. Potential vendors must carefully review and incorporate this addendum into their proposal submission, ensuring compliance with the updated contract term description.
