About this file
This document is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) issued by the Atlanta Public Schools (APS) Procurement Services department for a Playground Safety Audit. APS is seeking bids from qualified vendors to provide comprehensive playground safety audits at all APS school locations. The scope of work includes inspecting all playground equipment, identifying hazards and non-compliant conditions, providing recommendations for repairs and improvements, and assisting with budget projections. The audit reports must be submitted weekly, and the selected vendor must have a local representative available within 48 hours. The initial contract term is one year with four one-year renewal options at APS's discretion.
The IFB requires the vendor to provide pricing for the playground safety audits, including labor, materials, and delivery charges. APS will award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. There is no mandatory MWBE participation goal, but APS encourages offerors to identify any inclusive practices used to increase MWBE involvement.
