About this file
This is an amendment to a request for bid (RFB) issued by the University of Wisconsin-Madison for the procurement of two high-speed cameras under ShopUW+ EVENT #2023-UWMSN-00327-RFB. The amendment addresses questions and answers from potential bidders regarding the camera specifications and brand requirements. Interested vendors must submit proposals online through the SciQuest bidding platform at https://bids.sciquest.com/apps/Router/PublicEvent?CustomerOrg=UWisconsin. Questions regarding the solicitation should be directed to Mike Marean at mike.marean@wisc.edu. The bid document includes technical specifications that all proposed cameras must meet, and any manufacturer brand meeting these specifications is acceptable for bidding.
The amendment clarifies that the University does not require cameras from specific manufacturers such as Konaca, Minolta, or Canon, allowing bidders flexibility in equipment selection provided their offerings meet the stated technical specifications. No pricing terms, set-asides, incumbency information, or funding sources are detailed in this amendment document. Interested parties should reference the complete bid solicitation documentation on the SciQuest platform for comprehensive details regarding specifications, evaluation criteria, pricing requirements, and submission deadlines.
