About this file

This is an addendum to Request for Bid (RFB) 2023-15 for Bed Bug Detection Services issued by the City of Green Bay Housing Authority (GBHA) in Wisconsin. The addendum clarifies specifications and addresses vendor inquiries regarding the bid requirements. The project requires vendors to provide quarterly bed bug detection services using certified, licensed technicians/canine specialists and trained detection dogs. The bid submission deadline is April 27, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. Central Time. Vendors must acknowledge receipt of all addenda in their bid documents, or their proposals may face rejection.

The addendum specifically addresses certification requirements for canine detection teams. The authority confirmed that substitute certifications from organizations other than those originally specified are permissible, provided the alternative certification is clearly identified in the bid submission. This clarification applies to dogs and trainers certified through entities such as the North American Bed Bug Training Center located in Arizona. All other requirements of the original proposal documents remain unchanged unless otherwise stated in this or subsequent addenda. Any information contained in this addendum will be incorporated into the final contractual agreement with the selected bidder(s).

Question 1: Our dogs and trainers were trained and certified through the North American Bed

Bug Training Center out of AZ. I do have certificates for dogs and trainers. Just wondering if that would be accepted?
