Subject: Invitation to Bid #2022200068 Pressure Washing at Washington Jefferson Park
ADDENDUM #1
The solicitation referenced above is updated & amended as follows:
1. Provide attendance sheet from non-mandatory pre-bid conference.
See following page.
2. ODOT painted all the columns on 3/29 after the pre-bid conference. The contractor will be required to just provide a general cleaning to the columns, but not with the intent of removing graffiti.
3. During the walk the City added three art pieces, 22 park lamp posts, all mow strips, and the sidewalk areas near both turnouts to the scope of work to be cleaned.
Based on 2 and 3 above, Item 2.3 of the Requirements is changed to read-
Clean approximately 22,360 square feet of sidewalks within park, 5 picnic tables, 1 bench, three art pieces, all mow strips, both sidewalks near the turnouts, and 22 park lamp posts to remove all foreign debris including graffiti. Also clean all bridge pillars below 8 feet above ground level just to remove dirt (no graffiti removal required for the pillars).
4. The areas below the on-ramps to the Washington Jefferson bridge are not included in the scope of work.
5. The pedestrian bridge is not included in the scope of work.
6. Run-off water that does not contain contaminates may be allowed to soak into adjacent soil, however any in ground drains must be blocked to prevent run-off from entering the drain system.
Any run-off water that enters the street will need to be collected and filtered prior to entering the sanitary drain system. Any filtered material must be removed from the site by the contractor and disposed of in accordance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
7. There are two hydrants near the work site. One is located near Washington and 4th Ave (on the park side of Washington), and the other is located near Jefferson and 3rd Ave (NOT on the park side of Jefferson). The City will arrange for meters to be installed per the awarded contractor’s instructions.
All other terms, conditions and specifications of this solicitation remain unchanged.
