About this file

This document is a set of Questions and Answers related to a Request for Proposals (RFP) issued by the John Adams Innovation Institute, a division of the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative, for a consultant to develop an Ecosystem Analysis of the Fintech ecosystem in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The analysis and work product produced by the chosen vendor will be used by MassTech and the Fintech Working Group to inform their efforts to increase the growth of the Fintech/financial services sector in Massachusetts, though the work product itself will not be widely distributed publicly. The Fintech Working Group has not utilized any other vendors for similar work in the past. MassTech prefers that respondents propose their own budgets rather than providing a funding range, and there are no legal issues with utilizing offshore personnel for the research and writing.

The contract opportunity is for the 2020-JAII-05 Request for Proposals for Fintech Ecosystem Analysis, though an established budget amount is not provided. MassTech may seek to negotiate a smaller scope of work if responses exceed the available funds.
