MARKET RESEARCH SURVEY

Stevedoring & Terminal Related Services (S&RTS) Port of Bremerhaven, Germany

1. Is your company a registered agent able to provide S&RTS services at the Port of Bremerhaven, Germany?

2. What documented proof are you able to provide demonstrating your companies authorized ability to access and operate S&RTS services at the Port of Bremerhaven, Germany?

3. The Government intends to utilize US dollars (USD) to compensate the awardee for services rendered. Can your company conduct financial transactions that may result from this requirement in USD? If not, please explain anticipated complications.

4. Does your company have experience handling military vehicles, containers, and cargo to include HAZMAT and/or explosives? If yes, please provide examples of the type, size, and hazardous classifications.

5. The US Government is contemplating the use of one five-year base ordering period with one six-month extension, if needed. Please identify and explain any limitations, constraints or regulatory concerns which may prevent you from performing under these terms?

6. A draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) was included with this RFI. Please identify any terms and conditions you believe deviate from commercial best practices or would cost the US Government unnecessary time and money? Please be specific and provide recommendations as to how we can improve.

7. If an award was to materialize from this effort, would your company be able to start performance within 30 days of contract award? If not, how much transition time would you need to become operational ready to start?

8. Offerors are required to be registered in SAM when submitting a quotation or offer and shall continue to be registered until time of award, during performance and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation. Is there anything impeding compliance with this requirement?

9. Please review the draft Schedule of Rates (SOR) attached. Do the units of measure annotated align with commercial industry best practices?
