Statement of Work For U.S. Customs and Border Protection Repair of Vehicle DHS281436, Equipment ID 1153430, SUV, 4X4, INT, 5500LBS, EXPL, E85, LE2, WH

VIN: 1FM5K8B8XJGC45491

1. BACKGROUND:

The United States Customs and Border Protection (US-CBP), Boston Field Office (BFO), has the responsibility to service, repair and maintain CBP Customs and Border Protection vehicles and equipment to ensure safe travel and protection for CBP personnel.

2. SCOPE:

U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Boston Field Office for DHS281436 requires a transmission replacement due to inoperable status of the vehicle and the vehicle requires towing to any other location.

3. APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS:

Factory or equivalent parts used.

4. SPECIFIC TASKS:

Contractor shall replace and/or fully repair all components as necessary to return vehicle to serviceable and working condition. Only new OEM parts shall be used. Contractor shall be responsible for quality workmanship and provide full warranty provisions as appropriate.

The contractor shall test the functionality and certify all equipment repairs prior to invoice.

5. DELIVERABLES AND DELIVERY SCHEDULE:

Completion of the fully-repaired vehicle DHS281436, Equipment ID 1153430, SUV, 4X4, INT, 5500LBS, EXPL, E85, LE2, WH, VIN: 1FM5K8B8XJGC45491 shall be made within 30 (sixty) days after receipt of order.

6. GOVERNMENT-FURNISHED EQUIPMENT AND INFORMATION:

Government-Owned Vehicle: DHS281436, Equipment ID 1153430, SUV, 4X4, INT, 5500LBS, EXPL, E85, LE2, WH, VIN: 1FM5K8B8XJGC45491 will be provided for repair.

7. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE:

The place of performance will be at the contractor’s facility.

The location of the vehicle is:

Customs and Border Protection Port of Fort Fairfield, ME 4 Boundary Line Rd Fort Fairfield ME 04742

The Port of Fort Fairfield will be responsible for the transport back to the Port of Fort Fairfield when repairs have been completed.

8. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE:

This is a one-time repair of vehicle. All necessary vehicle repairs shall be completed within 30 days after receipt of order.

9. SECURITY:

There are no specific security classification level requirements associated with this procurement action. Information is deemed unclassified.

10. SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS:

Changes to the SOW No changes to this SOW or cost increases shall be incurred without written prior approval of the Contracting Officer as coordinated by the COR. Any changes or cost increases will not take effect until the Contracting Officer executes a written modification.
