About this file
This document is an attachment containing additional clauses to be incorporated into a firm-fixed-price purchase order resulting from a Request for Quote (RFQ) for untrained detector canines for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). The key details are:
The RFQ is for 10 untrained canines to support the CBP Office of Training and Development. This is a 100% small business set-aside with a NAICS code of 112990 and a $2.75M size standard. The solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses through FAC 2024-05. Quotes are due by June 28, 2024 at 10:00 AM EST and will be evaluated in a phased approach considering breed conformance, availability date, open orders/active notices, past performance, and price. The top-ranked offeror will receive a notice to proceed to deliver the canines for medical, physical, and behavioral evaluation. If at least one canine is acceptable, a purchase order will be issued to that offeror. The contract will be awarded to the responsible offeror whose quote is most advantageous to the government. The delivery location is the CBP Field Operations Canine (FOK9) Academy in Front Royal, VA, with an estimated notice to proceed issuance date of July 5, 2024.
