1Vendor shall deliver, install, set-up, and intial test the Coil Binder System at the U.S. Senate site. The date of delivery, installation, set-up, and intial test shall be mutually agreed upon and coordinated between the vendor and the Senate's COTR.
2Vendor shall provide a detailed checklist describing the proper functioning of the coil binder system, as well as the proper operation of any additional features that the coil binder system may perform. This is to verify the proper operation of the coil binder system prior to the start of the Senate's 30-day acceptance testing period (See Acceptance Testing section below).
3Vendor shall provide training on all the functions of the coil binder system including adjustments for binding different sizes and types of documents. The training shall be given to 8 operators divided between two shifts (7:00 AM - 4:30 PM & 4:30 PM - 11:30 PM), with each shift including up to 4 operators. The training schedule shall be mutually agreed upon between the Vendor and the Senate COTR. All training shall be completed prior to the start of the Senate's 30-day acceptance testing period.
Documentation:

Acceptance Testing
1Senate shall provide written notification to Vendor of the successful installation of the Coil Binder System, completion of training, and the receipt of all documentation from the Vendor. This written notification shall signify delivery of the Coil Binder System to the Senate for the start of the Senate's 30-day acceptance testing period.
2Acceptance of the Coil Binder System by the Senate shall be determined by the fulfillment of the requirements of this RFQ to the satisfaction of the Senate. Acceptance testing by Senate personnel will emphasize the operational, functional and reliability factors of the Coil Binder under load or while being fully utilized. Acceptance testing begins after the delivery of the Coil Binder System to the Senate (see Acceptance Testing # 1 above), and ends when the Coil Binder System has met the standards of performance by operating for a period of thirty consecutive business days (7:00 AM to 11:30PM) without failure downtime of any kind. The Coil Binder System, for purposes of the acceptance testing, is defined as all components and equipment which consist the Coil Binder System. (Note: Failure downtime is a period of time in which the Coil Binder System is not reliably operable due to intermittent or consistent failure so that any component or portion of the system can not be used, or that those components or portions of the Coil Binder System will not operate in accordance with the Coil Binder System's specifications.)
3If the Coil Binder System has a failure downtime within 30 days of the start of acceptance testing period, the Vendor shall, at its own expense, fix and/or replace any defective part or parts of Coil Binder System (including the entire Coil Binder System if necessary). The acceptance testing period shall begin again after the Coil Binder System has been fixed, and/or replacement of the designated parts. If the Coil Binder System has another failure downtime within the next 30 consecutive days of the re-start of the acceptance testing period, the Senate may reject the Coil Binder System entirely and terminate the contract for default.
