About this file
This is a bid form for the Warwick Township Water & Sewer Authority's 2027 Sludge Hauling Services contract (Agreement 26-4). The contract covers the removal, hauling, and disposal of waste activated sludge from two wastewater treatment plants: Fish Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant (1980 Deer Run Drive, Jamison, PA 18929) and Country Crossing Wastewater Treatment Plant (1530 Mearns Road, Warminster, PA 18974). The contract requires hauling of approximately 63,000 gallons per week to a Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection approved sludge removal facility. The base contract term is three years with two optional renewal periods: two additional years (Option A.1) and one additional year (Option A.2). Bidders must provide pricing on a per-gallon basis for all line items.
The bid form includes four distinct line items: Item A covers the base three-year contract with an estimated quantity of 9,828,000 gallons; Item A.1 provides an option for two additional years with an estimated 6,552,000 gallons; Item A.2 provides an option for one additional year with an estimated 3,276,000 gallons; Item B allows for an alternative disposal site other than the primary facility; and Item C covers emergency weekend hauling services that require special authorization by the Authority. All pricing is structured on a per-gallon rate. The Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids and will award the contract to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder deemed to make the most advantageous bid.
