About this file

This is a Single Source Advertisement from the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind (FSDB) for proprietary training services from ThinkCERCA.com, Inc. The agency seeks teacher training services related to the ThinkCERCA curriculum, which has been adopted for use in the school's common core standard literacy program in alignment with Florida curriculum adoption standards. The advertisement was posted on August 6, 2026, with a fifteen business day advertisement period ending on August 27, 2026, at 4:00 PM. This is not a competitive solicitation but rather a statutorily mandated notice of intended single source procurement. Interested vendors who believe they can fulfill this procurement are invited to provide information regarding their capabilities during the advertising period by contacting Elizabeth Nimitz, Purchasing Analyst, or Kim Whitwam, Director of Purchasing.

The estimated not-to-exceed dollar amount for this procurement is $3,200.00. The intended sole source is ThinkCERCA.com, Inc., located at 815 North Michigan Avenue, Suite 3100, Chicago, Illinois 60611. The justification for single source acquisition is based on FSDB's prior purchase of the ThinkCERCA curriculum; training on the curriculum's use is available exclusively through ThinkCERCA.com, Inc. and their certified instructors, as the product is sold only through direct transactions with the vendor and no alternative training source exists. The determination to proceed with this procurement remains solely within the discretion of the agency, and failure to file a protest within the prescribed timeframe shall constitute a waiver of proceedings under Florida Statutes Chapter 120.
