About this file
This document is a notice of an intended single source procurement by the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind (FSDB) for proprietary software from HEC Software, Inc. dba Reading Horizons. FSDB requires the Reading Horizons Discover and Elevate software for the 2024-2025 fiscal year, with an estimated not-to-exceed amount of $6,000.00. HEC Software, Inc. dba Reading Horizons is the sole source for the suite of Reading Horizons products, as they are the author, publisher, and copyright holder.
The justification for the single source acquisition is that no other source exists for the Reading Horizons Discover and Elevate software. This notice is not a competitive solicitation but rather a statutorily mandated 15-business day advertisement of the intended single source procurement. Prospective vendors who believe they can fulfill this procurement are requested to provide information regarding their ability to supply the required commodities or services within the 15-business day advertising period.
