· CUSTOMERIZE CONFIGURATION DESCRIBED-Agency requires two each of this complete system, this means for example, 8 each of the 32GB RDIMM, 3200MT / s, Dual Rank 8Gb BASE x4 - 370- AEVN is repeated to cover two (2) systems each totaling 16 of the 32GB RDIMM, 3200MT / s, Dual Rank 8Gb BASE x4 - 370- AEVN. The same goes for the 1.92TB SSD vSAS. Reiteration - The above configuration is MANDATORY -but CUSTOMIZED; however, it may not be exclusive to DHA in terms of marketing and being sold to other organizations by Dell. There are system elements that specify Part Numbers and then in the description, it begins with “no, not, or non-required…” this is to show the permanence of the request for the customized configuration supporting DHA exclusively for this particular solicitation. The government understands that the items with “No, Not or NON-Required...” will be unpriced in “DESCRIPTION” because that is what is required for Agency need of configurative file server.
· The government realizes this file server description has many elements; however, this is an “all or none”-“exact match” requirement. The award shall go to the contractor that can provide the complete match to aforementioned configuration. If an element is not priced then the government views that the unpriced element is included in the “bottom line” or grand total price, if your proposal is an exact match to what Agency is requiring then it is technically acceptable, for this is a “LOW COST – TECHNICALLY ACCEPTABLE” PROCUREMENT. Not responding exactly the way it is solicited may cause the government to reject your quotation.
· DUPLICATE ITEMS SPECIFIED HEREIN ARE PURPOSED – PLEASE DON’T IGNORE. Agency intends to purchase the quantity of two (2) System CONFIGURATION OF FILE SERVER; therefore, duplicate items are for that purpose. When pricing please govern yourselves accordingly. In reiteration, you’ll find that some system elements are repeated. Please view this as part of our customizations and please address, at maximum, with a priceable line-item as the applicable regarded value. There are fifty (50) elements to this configuration as specified above.

The government is buying information technology that shall be used for storage and management of its information (computer files), and any other use form is prohibited by the federal government, no other forms of storage shall be aided by the vendor awarded a contract for supply of file servers.
(2) Confidentiality, which means preserving authorized restrictions on access and disclosure, including means for protecting personal privacy and proprietary information; and,
(3) Availability, which means ensuring timely and reliable access to, and use of information technologies installed in file servers purposed for fulfilling federal government’s need for server attributes as a solution to file management requirements.
WARRANTY:

“KEEP YOUR HARD DRIVE” AMENITY:
This is a notification. The Federal Government shall keep hard drives of all replacement computer file servers whether defective or not. This fortifies the federal government’s information assurance integrities where DHA strives for certainty to protect all information generated by Agency while executing its mission requirements and program standards.
