About this file

This document is a Single Source Advertisement from the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind (FSDB) regarding a sole source procurement for n2y electronic licenses. FSDB is seeking user licenses for n2y's L3 Skills, Unique Learning System, and News2you proprietary products for fiscal year 2022-2023, with an estimated not-to-exceed amount of $11,000. n2y is identified as the sole source publisher and copyright holder for these products, which are specialized for individuals with special needs. The advertisement provides justification for the single source acquisition and invites prospective vendors to submit information regarding their ability to supply the required commodities or services within the 15-business day advertising period.

The advertisement notes that this is not a competitive solicitation, but rather a statutorily mandated notice of the agency's intended decision to enter a single-source purchase contract. Failure to file a protest within the specified timeframe will constitute a waiver of proceedings under Chapter 120 of the Florida Statutes. The primary contacts for any questions or information are Dennis MacRae, Contract Administrator, and Kim Whitwam, Director of Purchasing, at FSDB.
