About this file

This document is a Notice of Intended Single Source Purchase for the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind (FSDB). FSDB is seeking user licenses for the Mobex, Inc. YakChat application to facilitate SMS and MMS messaging to and from Microsoft Teams users for the 2023-2024 fiscal year. The estimated dollar amount not-to-exceed is $18,000.00, and the intended sole source provider is Mobex, Inc., a Florida Corporation that distributes and supports the YakChat application nationwide. The notice is posted pursuant to Florida statutes, and vendors who feel they can fulfill this procurement should provide information regarding their ability to supply the required commodities or services within the 15-business day advertising period by contacting the primary contact, Kim Whitwam, Director of Purchasing.

The pricing for this contract is not-to-exceed $18,000.00. The contract is for the 2023-2024 fiscal year, and there is no mention of any renewal options. The funding source is not specified, but the contract is being procured by the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind, a state educational institution. Prospective vendors are requested to provide information regarding their ability to supply the required commodities or services within the specified timeframe.
