FSDB seeks Florida language arts curriculum materials for grades 6-8 published by McGraw Hill for the fiscal period FY 2026-2031. The advertisement was posted on April 2, 2026, at 4:00 PM and will remain open through April 23, 2026, at 4:00 PM, representing the statutorily mandated fifteen business day advertisement period. This is not a competitive solicitation but rather a notice of intended decision to enter into a single source contract pursuant to Florida Statutes 287.057(3), 120.57(3), and Rule 60A-1.045, F.A.C. Vendors believing they can fulfill this procurement should submit information regarding their capability to supply the described commodities during the advertising period to Kim Whitwam, Director of Purchasing, at whitwamk@fsdbk12.org.
The estimated not-to-exceed dollar amount for this procurement is $16,000.00, with McGraw Hill LLC of 8787 Orion Place, Columbus, Ohio 43240, identified as the intended source. FSDB justifies the single source acquisition based on McGraw Hill LLC's exclusive status as the sole source for all complete program materials published under the McGraw-Hill label, including Florida StudySync materials, for which no alternative source exists. The procurement covers commodity classifications for educational or reference software, educational or vocational textbooks, and electronic educational or vocational textbooks. The agency retains sole discretion to determine whether to complete this procurement or conduct a competitive procurement based on responses received during the advertisement period.
