About this file
This document is a Single Source Advertisement from the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind (FSDB) for a procurement of Illustrative Math curriculum materials from Kendall Hunt Publishing Company. The solicitation, numbered SS-25-098, seeks to replenish consumable curriculum materials for fiscal year 2025-2026, with an advertisement period running from May 19, 2025, to June 10, 2015. The procurement is specifically for educational textbooks and math kits, with a not-to-exceed estimated dollar amount of $5,000.00.
The procurement is a non-competitive, single-source acquisition justified by Kendall Hunt being the exclusive provider of the Illustrative Math Program, with no alternative sources available for the curriculum or its consumable materials. The document emphasizes that this is a statutorily mandated advertisement, allowing potential vendors fifteen business days to challenge the single-source determination by demonstrating their ability to supply equivalent commodities. The primary contacts for questions are Kim Whitwam, Director of Purchasing, and an unnamed Purchasing Analyst, with communication to be conducted via email. The agency retains sole discretion in determining whether to proceed with the procurement based on any responses received during the advertisement period.
