About this file
This Performance Work Statement (PWS) details a modular range repair service for the 147th Security Forces Squadron at Ellington Field Joint Reserve Base in Texas, scheduled for 29 July 2025. The primary scope of work involves installing an inclined auger tail assembly to an existing inclined auger and reattaching it to a horizontal auger that removes debris from the modular range.
Specific technical requirements include replacing critical components such as the shaft (P/N CE4BB-W-3), bronze bearing and housing (P/N CHB2204MBR & TEBH4), and rubber seal (P/N RR150). The contractor must perform a Contractor Verification Test (CVT) involving equipment inspection, rotational direction testing, and safety hazard checks. The Government will conduct Acceptance Testing (GAT) to ensure the range system starts without error codes, with the contractor required to provide on-site technical assistance and maintenance support. The work must be completed during specified hours (Tuesday-Friday, 0700-1700), excluding federal holidays, with potential for extended hours upon prior approval.
