About this file
This document is a presolicitation notice for a 5-Year Long Term Contract (LTC) for repair coverage of Navy and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) items related to the E2D Advanced Hawkeye APX-122 IFF System.
The contract requires repair services for 14 line items of specialized aircraft components, totaling 590 units across the five-year period. Items include phase shifters, transmitters, crypto assemblies, RF modules, signal processors, control processors, power supplies, and receivers, with quantities ranging from 5 to 200 units per part number. The Government has identified BAE SYSTEMS INFORMATION AND ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS INTEGRATION INC. (Cage Code 80249) as the only qualified source for these repairs due to flight-critical classifications and insufficient technical data to support full and open competition under 10 USC 3204(A)(1). Non-approved sources may submit proposals only if accompanied by complete source approval documentation as outlined in the NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Source Approval Information Brochure. Prospective contractors currently under source approval evaluation must include a copy of their submission cover letter. Offers lacking all required technical data per the Source Approval Brochure will not be considered for award. The Government reserves the right to continue award based on Fleet support needs if source approval cannot be processed in time. Inquiries should be directed to Chad Fichter, N723.12, at chad.m.fichter.civ@us.navy.mil. Additional guidance is available through the NAVSUP WSS Commercial Item Identification Brochure accessible on the NAVSUP website.
