About this file
This document is a Synopsis for a sole source procurement by NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia. The solicitation is for 10 Damper Assembly units (Part Number 70106-28000-049, NSN 7R1615016047562) to be sourced directly from Sikorsky under existing Basic Ordering Agreement N0038320GX901. The procurement will be conducted using FAR Part 15 procedures, is not a small business set-aside, and will be processed electronically through NECO.
The synopsis indicates that Sikorsky is the sole source due to the government's lack of data rights for the part. Interested organizations may submit capability statements or proposals via email to julianna.r.macrillo.civ@us.navy.mil within 45 days of the synopsis. Proposals will be considered for potential competitive procurement, though the government intends to negotiate with only Sikorsky. Any firms not currently approved to manufacture the material must submit a Source Approval Request (SAR). The anticipated contract award date is December 2025, and no telephone requests or hard copy documents will be accepted.
