About this file
This document is a single source advertisement for proprietary Crisis Prevention Institute training services and materials for the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind (FSDB). FSDB requires the Crisis Prevention Institute training for staff members to maintain certification and train new staff on nonviolent crisis prevention methods. The training programs and materials are ongoing throughout fiscal year 2022-2023, with an expenditure not to exceed $34,999.00. The intended sole source provider is Crisis Prevention Institute, Inc., located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, as they are the sole owner of the copyrighted training materials, electronic presentations, manuals, workbooks, and other proprietary content.
The justification for the single source acquisition is that Crisis Prevention Institute, Inc. is the sole provider and owner of the required proprietary training materials and services. This is not a competitive solicitation, but rather a notice of the intended decision to enter a single source contract, pursuant to Florida Statutes. Vendors who believe they can fulfill this procurement are requested to provide information regarding their ability to supply the required commodities or services within the 15-business day advertising period.
