About this file
This file is a geographical reference document supporting Chatham County, Georgia's Green Space Management Plan contract opportunity. The document displays a comprehensive map and inventory of nine county-owned natural areas and conservation properties, including Al Bungard Conservation Area (489.16 acres), Blue Sky Preserve (615.42 acres), Frank O Williamson Lake (128.98 acres), Great Ogeechee Lakes (297.21 acres), Green Island (2,166.45 acres), Pennyworth Island (167.17 acres), Tom Triplett Park (194.26 acres), and Whitemarsh Preserve (119.90 acres). The total portfolio encompasses diverse natural, recreational, and cultural resources across the county, with properties identified by parcel identification numbers and scale references for geographic context.

These plans will serve as primary guiding documents for long-term stewardship and operational management of these public assets. The contract deliverables include comprehensive management plans that address resource inventory, conservation priorities, and recreational use strategies tailored to each property's unique characteristics and location within Chatham County's geographic portfolio.
