STATEMENT OF WORK
1) BACKGROUND INFORMATION
The Tuberculosis Research Section (TRS) requires the use of a liquid chromatography mass spectrometer (LC-MS and LC-QqQ) to perform experiments in drug discovery, metabolomics, and microsomal stability, dereplication database, pharmacokinetics, structural determination, clinical serum levels and patient care. Many experiments are time sensitive in conjunction with efficacy studies in clinical trials and high throughput screening and requires prompt repair and maintenance upkeep of the Agilent 1100 LC with 1946DSL Mass selective detector and Agilent 11290 Infinity HPLC with 6460 Triple Quadrupole mass detector.
2) PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES OF THE ACQUISITION
Should the system become inoperable without easy on-site user repair, the system will be nonfunctional while parts and labor are negotiated through AMBIS and available vendors. This will interrupt progress in TRS’s primary research functions.
