About this file
This document is a Single Source Advertisement from the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind (FSDB) for Apple products for fiscal year 2025-2026. The procurement notice covers the intended purchase of Apple hardware, software, services, and CTO (Custom To Order) products, with an advertisement period running from August 22, 2025, to September 15, 2025. The total estimated procurement value is not to exceed $135,000.00, and the contract is specifically for K-12 education institution needs.
The procurement is structured as a sole source acquisition, with Apple, Inc. identified as the exclusive provider of these products for private and public K-12 educational institutions in the United States. The justification for the single source procurement emphasizes that Apple maintains a direct sales and purchasing relationship with K-12 education institutions and remains the sole source for Apple Products. Vendors who believe they can fulfill this procurement are invited to provide information to the primary contact, Kim Whitwam, Director of Purchasing, during the fifteen business day advertising period, with the agency retaining discretion to determine the procurement approach based on any responses received.
