About this file
This document is a Single Source Advertisement from the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind (FSDB) for a sole source contract to provide proprietary Achieve3000 educational software and services. The FSDB currently utilizes Achieve3000's Differential Literacy Solution educational online services and Technical and Data Support services. The estimated dollar amount for this single source contract shall not exceed $21,000. Achieve3000, Inc. is the intended sole source provider, as they are the only provider of the Achieve3000 Literacy, Achieve3000 Math, Actively Learn, eScience3000, and Smarty Ants educational online services, as well as the LevelSet assessment, which utilize proprietary, patented technology, copyrighted materials, trade secrets, and source code owned or licensed by Achieve3000.
The justification for this single source acquisition is that Achieve3000's services may only be utilized with their permission, as they are the sole provider of these proprietary offerings. The agency believes this is a single source procurement, but vendors that feel they can fulfill this procurement should provide information regarding their ability to supply the commodities or contractual services described within the seven-business-day advertising period. Failure to file a protest within the time prescribed may result in a waiver of proceedings under Chapter 120, Florida Statutes.
