About this file

This document is an Addendum #1 issued by the City of Frisco Purchasing Division for BVB 2506-099, a New Sidewalk Construction project. The addendum, dated July 25, 2025, provides clarifications and answers to bidder questions regarding sidewalk installation at various locations. The project aims to install new sidewalks to provide pedestrians with safe all-weather walkways. The bid response deadline remains July 31, 2025, before 2:00 pm CT, and vendors who have already submitted a bid may revise their response if they feel the addendum impacts their original submission.

The addendum addresses key logistical details, including permit requirements and project specifications. The City of Frisco will help facilitate obtaining Right-of-Way (ROW) permits from TxDOT and Little Elm, but the contractor will be responsible for securing all required permits. The city will supply a signed agreement containing project plans and specifications. Additionally, the addendum notes that irrigation restoration pay items will be added to locations 3, 7, 8, and 9, with location 6 being the only site not requiring such restoration. Vendors are advised that if they cannot physically pick up and modify their response, any new submission will supersede their previous bid.

CITY OF FRISCO PURCHASING DIVISION

July 25, 2025 Addendum #1 – Question and Answers

BVB 2506-099

New Sidewalk Construction

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

1. It appears locations 3, 7 8 and 9 are missing the irrigation restoration pay item. Visually the only location without irrigation restoration required is location 6. Can you add the pay item in those locations?

A: These items will be added.

2. Are there any special requirements for any of the work to be performed in areas where we are required to get ROW permits from TxDot and Little Elm? Or are we constructing per Frisco specifications? Can you give us some additional information on what is required from the contractor to secure these permits? Per Frisco specs.

A: The city of Frisco will help facilitate getting the permits, but it will be the responsibility of the contractor to get all required permits.

3. Will the city supply the contractor with all plans and documentation required to secure TxDot and Little Elm permits?

A: We will supply you with a signed agreement that contains all the plans and specs for the project.

4. Do you have a description of the work that will be required to do this and the intent of the new locations?

A: The installation of new sidewalks at various locations to provide pedestrians safe all weather walkways.

Vendors who may have already submitted a bid and feel this addendum may change their response, may pick up their response, and return it by the closing date. If picking up the response is not feasible, any new response submitted by your firm will supersede one previously submitted.

This addendum does not change the due date. The due date remains July 31, 2025, before 2:00 pm

CT.
