About this file
This is the First Addenda for a Crop Lease Request for Bid (RFB) issued for three Wildlife Management Areas: Ballard, Boatwright, and Barren River. The addenda addresses procedural questions submitted by prospective bidders regarding the solicitation process. Key clarifications include confirmation that only one good faith check is required to cover all tracts being bid upon, and that the Annual Affidavit for Bidders, Offerors, and Contractors must be notarized prior to bid submission. The addenda also provides guidance on bid delivery procedures, noting that while the Bush Building is closed to the public, bidders may hand deliver sealed bid envelopes by inserting them through a mail slot in the door. Additionally, prospective bidders are required to complete the Solicitation Form with vendor, ordering, and payment information including business name, address, contact details, and signature.
The addenda does not establish new pricing terms, set-asides, or funding requirements but rather clarifies administrative and submission requirements for the crop lease bidding process. The guidance ensures standardized bid submission procedures and verification of bidder information and good faith intent across all three Wildlife Management Area tracts included in the solicitation.
