About this file
This document is a Performance Work Statement (PWS) for a federal contract opportunity to perform premise wiring, install equipment, and update telecommunications infrastructure at Building 374 at Eglin AFB, Florida.
The key objectives include replacing an existing 2-post rack with a new 7-foot lockable cabinet, testing and relocating existing cabling, installing new CAT6 cabling and fiber optic cabling, and establishing proper grounding and bonding for the telecommunications systems. The work spans several rooms and requires cable pathways, sleeves, j-hooks, and new outlet installations. Testing, labeling, and documentation requirements are specified. This PWS outlines the detailed technical specifications, applicable standards, and deliverables for the contractor. The related federal contract opportunity is a solicitation (FA2823-24-Q-A022) seeking quotes to meet the requirements of this PWS.
