About this file

This document is a Minimal Acceptable Standards document for an upright frozen food merchandiser (1G25) for the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA). The document specifies the required features and characteristics of the merchandiser, including dimensions, construction materials, temperature range, shelving, lighting, and electrical requirements. The merchandiser must be self-contained, with a condensate dissipater pan, bottom-mounted compressor, and swivel casters for mobility. It must conform to UL, NSF, and EPA SNAP requirements, using CFC-free refrigerants. The warranty period is 1 year. The merchandiser is required to be 115-208/230V, 60Hz, 1-phase with a 20-amp average draw. The contractor must provide a point of contact for service, installation/operating instructions, and a parts list. The document indicates this is in support of a pre-solicitation for upright merchandisers (1G25 and 1G26) to be provided to DeCA stores.
