19TH2026Q0001 – Tactical Training Equipment Questions and Answers
Q 1: “I was wondering if this procurement will be set aside for small businesses?”
A: The acquisition will be unrestricted and not be set aside.
Q 2: “Is it possible to get at least a top level description of the required equipment? That is a pretty broad topic, it will be most helpful to know if this will be an acquisition of live fire range training capabilities (such as targetry, target systems, bullet traps, LF Shoot House), versus virtual weapons training systems, versus athletic training equipment, versus non-lethal ammunition training facilities.”
A: The top-level description of the required equipment is virtual weapons training systems. The acquisition will include but not limited to Short Indicating Resetting Trigger (SIRT) training pistols, electric training rifles and associated accessories.
