SOLICITATION 19SP5021R0001

JANITORIAL SERVICES FOR THE U.S. EMBASSY MADRID, SPAIN

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS # 3

Question 1: Would it be possible to visit any of the empty GLQ facilities? The purpose of this visit would only be to check and evaluate the workload needed to perform the required cleaning tasks in order to submit an accurate offer

Answer 1: All GLQs, which cleaning requirements are described in detail in Section C.2.3 of the solicitation, are currently occupied and cannot be visited.

Question 2: Based on the nature of the current world and COVID19, would the Government allow for Electronic Submission of the Proposal Response vs. ‘hand carried’ / ‘mailed in’ response?

This would facilitate a better opportunity for response vice current travel restrictions and weather related delays in mailings.

Answer 2: As stated in the pre-solicitation notice posted in beta.SAM.gov, no electronic offers will be accepted. In accordance with Section L.1.1.2 of the solicitation, Offerors should submit the complete offer to the address shown at Block 7, if mailed, or Block 9, if hand delivered, of Standard Form 33
