SOLICITATION 19SP5021R0001

JANITORIAL SERVICES FOR THE U.S. EMBASSY MADRID, SPAIN

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS # 2

Question 1: Would it be possible to visit any of the empty DCR or TLA facilities? The purpose of this visit would only be to check and evaluate the workload needed to perform the required cleaning tasks in order to submit an accurate offer.

Answer 1: The only area to be serviced at the DCR is the guard booth, which cleaning requirements are described in detail in Section C.2.1.2. It is similar to the guard booth that we saw during the site visit.

As for the TLA, which cleaning requirements are described in detail in Section C.2.2, it is currently occupied and cannot be visited.

Question 2: Do we need that documents related to bank’s statements, any official certification, etc… to be translated into english? If yes, do we need an offical traslation? Should it be translated in its whole extension or it is enough just to summarize this translation?

Answer 2: Please refer to Provision 52.214-34 – Submission of Offers in the English Language (Apr 1991) under Section L.2 of the solicitation. Provision 52.214-34 does not require that the translation be done by a registered translator.
