About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) addendum related to Solicitation Number 19SL2024Q0002, a Request for Proposals (RFP) for preventive maintenance services for Switchgears, Medium and Low Voltage Transformers, and Low Voltage Automatic Regulator, issued by the U.S. Department of State.

The Q&A clarifies several details, including bond requirements, the need to include Defense Base Act (DBA) insurance costs in the pricing proposal, access to NFPA 70 electrical code, non-emergency shutdown procedures, the scope of repairs covered, and the requirement for the contractor to handle oil testing. The one-line drawing for the electrical equipment will not be distributed due to security concerns. No specific drawings are anticipated to be needed for this Preventive Maintenance Service Contract (PMSC).
