About this file

This document is an amendment to a Request for Proposals (RFP) for health insurance services for Locally Engaged Staff (LES) at the U.S. Embassy in Islamabad and U.S. Consulates in Lahore, Karachi, and Peshawar, Pakistan. The contract will be for a base year plus four option years starting January 1, 2025. The U.S. Government plans to award a contract to the responsible company offering an acceptable proposal at the lowest price. The RFP defines eligible dependents as the employee's spouse and children up to age 26 if full-time students, with no age limit for children who are physically or mentally handicapped. The document also includes a table showing claims paid out for the past four contract years, with total claims, total claims bill amount, total claims amount paid, and deductions. The RFP encourages offerors to submit off-the-shelf plans that meet the minimum required benefit levels.
